Hallo zusammen,

I have just had a Luft-Wasser-Wärmepumpe installed and the technician mentioned that cooling in summer is possible, but I'm not entirely clear on how that works or what needs to be checked during commissioning.

My question: What exactly does the specialist need to verify so that active cooling actually works reliably? I read somewhere that not all systems can do this – is that a hardware limitation or more of a software/control setting?

Also, during the initial startup, did the technician check anything specific related to cooling mode? I got a handover protocol but some of the abbreviations aren't clear to me.

I'm new to the forum and would really appreciate any tips on how cooling with a Luft-Wasser-WP actually functions and what I should be looking out for this summer. Thanks in advance!
